Privacy

HappyLinks has no visitor accounts, analytics trackers, or third-party scripts. Public links work without JavaScript.

Suggestions

We store the URL, optional explanation, optional credit name, audience, suggested ages and receipt time privately. We do not publish your explanation. A credit name appears only if you supply it and a person approves it.

Suggestions may never be published. Private suggestion details are deleted 90 days after review. Unreviewed suggestions stay until reviewed unless the sender requests deletion.

Abuse prevention and hosting

Our hosting provider processes network requests. We use a salted hash of an IP address to limit suggestions to five per hour; raw IP addresses are not stored in our suggestion database. We do not set cookies.
